Anupam Chettimada

President and Chief Executive Officer

Anupam Chettimada is a senior from Waterloo, Ontario. He first joined JEC Toronto in 2022 as an Associate Operating Officer, and in 2023, assumed the role of President for the 2023-2024 term. As an individual deeply passionate about economics, healthcare, technology, and the intersection of this trinity, Anupam has invested large amounts of time into building novel healthcare technologies. He is the founder of Talkhappi, an AI-powered therapy assistant, and his work has been featured on FORBES Magazine, The TODAY Show Blog, and most recently, the Foreign Policy Association. Throughout his high school career, he has pitched his innovations on stages from the Velocity Accelerator in Waterloo to the South By Southwest Festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas. He hopes to leverage his past experiences and interests to help break new ground at JEC Toronto this term.
